CloudKleyer Executives Attended Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New FRA1 Data Center in Schwalbach am Taunus

On June 9, 2026, Jan Weller, Managing Director of CloudKleyer Frankfurt GmbH, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for noris network AG’s new FRA1 data center in Schwalbach am Taunus, near Frankfurt am Main.

The FRA1 project is one of the most significant investments in Germany’s digital infrastructure in recent years. Upon completion, the new data center will offer approximately 7,000 square meters of IT space and up to 30 MW. The facility is designed to support high-performance computing systems, AI infrastructure, and enterprise IT solutions.

The ceremony brought together representatives of the data center industry, technology companies, and project partners. As part of the event, representatives of noris network and invited guests placed a time capsule into the foundation of the future facility. Prior to the ceremony, participants wrote personal messages and wishes on special cards, which were placed inside the capsule.
